IPOM VENTRIAL HERNIA REPAIR

Performing a cost-effective robotic IPOM ventral hernia repair can be achieved with the following recommendations:

  • 3 robotic arms are sufficient
  • Utilizing only 2 instruments (the fenestrated bipolar grasper and the mega suture cut needle driver, or alternatively mega suture cut needled driver and hook cautery) is feasible
